You Asked:
How do I transfer to Kent State?
Quick Answer:
Kent State University welcomes transfer applications from students who have enrolled in a college, university, technical or proprietary school after graduation from high school.
To begin the transfer process, complete the application for admission. You will also need to request official transcripts from each institution you have attended since high school. Students who have completed fewer than 12 semester hours/18 quarter hours will need to submit an official high school transcript and ACT or SAT scores.
Kent State recommends that transfer students apply six months prior to the term they plan to enroll. Transfer applications are processed on a rolling basis up to the start of each semester. Apply as a transfer student.
Generally, transfer applicants who have taken at least 12 semester hours with a cumulative GPA of at least 2.00 as computed by Kent State University (on a scale of 4.00) may be admitted to the university. Applicants who have taken fewer than 12 semester hours will be evaluated on both their collegiate and high school records.
There are a number of selective admissions majors which have specific requirements to be admitted.
Kent State University receives applications from more than 2,000 transfer students each year.

The Admissions Office will send you a transfer credit evaluation after you have been admitted to the university.
